I remember getting up early for sunrise and when I walked out of the hotel, it was cloudy and the sky was grey. Not what I was hoping for. I pressed on and found a location to shoot from. At that moment, the sky came alive with fantastic color and I was able to get this shot. This day taught me a lesson - you never know what you’ll get so you go regardless. Sometimes the conditions don’t change, but sometimes they do. Glad I pressed on this day.

When I came upon this long stretch of road, I immediately had this photo in mind. At first, Landon wasn’t too thrilled to be the main subject in this photo, but he was willing to oblige. One of my favorite shots from the trip.
